Laminate Flooring
What Is Laminate Flooring?
Laminate flooring is made of a laminate material made to simulate natural products like wood or stone, but made up of either synthetics or of synthetic materials with natural and/or recycled ingredients and then covered with decorative layer with an aluminum oxide finish.
Laminate flooring has a core, and a glued-on layer (or fused layers) of outer material. Many simulate wood, or other textures like marble or granite. As a popular alternative to other hard surface products, high-quality laminate flooring can resist stains, wear, and fading better than wood and natural stone while providing unique appearances. It is durable and water-resistant, offering bathroom and kitchen use and unlike most hardwoods, laminates are mostly dent-resistant.
How is laminate flooring installed?
